Quick guide to clusters, choropleths, and how to read the table.

Each cluster is a radius search. Select a cluster, then click the map to set its center. Use radius to match commute direction or target neighborhoods.

When enabled, demographics can be weighted across multiple tracts based on overlap with your radius. The map can also show tract polygons colored by the selected tract metric.

“Color parcels by” shades parcel polygons within each cluster using the same metric keys as the main Dashboard. The color scale is global across clusters so colors are directly comparable.

Cells are shaded to help you scan winners/losers per row. Green usually indicates “better” and red indicates “worse” based on the metric’s direction (e.g., lower price is better, higher owner-occupancy is better).
